Ace Combat Assault Horizon is, in my opinion, the best looking and basically the best Ace Combat series i have ever played. Past ace combats when you destroy a plane, it just goes in a fire ball still keeping that triangular shape but in Assault Horizon, the most realistic things happen. You could now emerge into dogfights with other planes, computer aided back flips with jets as you fire and realistic explosion and outcome. When you destroy a plane that is right in front of you, gas from the plane sticks onto your window making you in danger for a few seconds and you also see that when you shoot down or destroy a plane, the body of the plane is cut into half or holed or even into bits of pieces.
